IMPORTANCE OF DIVISIONAL CHARTS
There are 16 divisional charts in Vedic astrology, which are created by dividing each sign into a number of sections – like 9 for Navamsa , 10 for Dashamsha, and assigning a sign to each section. We are explaining in brief each of these below –
D-1 RASHI
Rashi is the first and foremost chart in Vedic Astrology, without which one can’t proceed with any predictions.D-3 DREKKANA

Dvadasamsa indicates the happiness from parents, their longeveity, financial status and social condition.D-16 SHODASAMSA
Shodasamsa analyzes a native’s material attachments, comforts, luxuries, travel, vehicle, and conveyances.D-20 VIMSAMSA
Vimsamsa is analyzed for spiritual inclination, meditative nature, philosophical thinking and devotion quotient.D-24 CHATURVIMSAMSA
Chaturvimsamsa is used to comprehend one’s intellectual abilities, academic trajectory and inclinations.D-27 SAPTAVIMSAMSA
Saptavimsamsa indicates physical strength or weakness, vitality and health of an individual.D30 – TRIMSAMSA
Trimsamsa is used to identify misfortunes, health mishaps, enemies, including all sorts of losses and trouble.D40 – KHAVEDAMSA
Khavedamsa is used to predict a native’s mother’s lineage, ancestors and auspicious or inauspicious events.D45 – AKSHAVEDAMSA
