YOGAS IN VEDIC ASTROLOGY

YOGAS MEAN union, and in Vedic astrology these are relationships between planets, signs and houses by placement, aspect or conjunctions. It is the effect of different combinations of planets and sign and house lords, that creates diverse astrological possibilities and outcomes.

PANCH MAHAPURUSH YOGA

SUN YOGAS

When Sun forms auspicious combinations or yogas in a birth chart, it gives rise to what is known as Sun Yoga. This yoga enhances one’s inner strength, clarity of purpose, self-confidence and the ability to lead. Sun Yoga is particularly potent when the Sun is placed in its own sign Leo or exalted in Aries, or in a kendra or trikona house with benefic aspects or associations.

In Vedic Astrology, Sun represents soul or atman, authority, vitality, leadership and the divine spark within an individual. Thus, Sun Yoga or a well-placed Sun can uplift a person’s soul and purpose, giving them the courage and charisma to fulfill their goals, as also act as a significant contributor to one’s spiritual and worldly achievements.
