WHAT IS SAMUDRIK SHASTRA?

SAMUDRIK SHASTRA is one of the ancient branches of Indian knowledge that deals with the interpretation of human destiny, character and personality through the study of physical features. BRANCHES OF SAMUDRIK SHASTRA

For example, a long life line indicates good health and vitality and a strong head line brings intelligence and logical thinking, while well-developed mounts like mounts of Jupiter, Venus or Mercury hints at specific talents and personality traits.

Pada Samudrika (Feet & Soles) – Interpretation of the structure of feet, soles, toes and markings.
The soles of the feet were seen as highly significant, especially in royal and spiritual contexts. Soft, smooth feet with auspicious marks like lotus, conch or wheel were considered signs of a great leader or spiritual soul. On the other hand, cracked, uneven soles indicated struggles and hardships.

Sharira Samudrika (Body Shape & Build) – Examination of body shape, skin texture, height and overall posture.
Tall, well-built bodies were associated with authority and leadership. On the other hand, slim and lean frames suggest agility, but sometimes also anxiety. Again, rounded, symmetrical bodies were often linked to prosperity and contentment.

Lakshana Shastra (Moles & Birthmarks) – Reading moles, birthmarks and special bodily signs for clues about destiny.
Moles are one of the most intriguing aspects of Samudrik Shastra. Their placement on the body is believed to indicate fortune, wealth or struggles, but a mole on the right side of the chest hints wealth and luxury. Again, a mole on the left side of the face indicates obstacles in life, but a mole on the foot signifies frequent travel or a wandering lifestyle.
